The STRP Biennale is creative technology festival held every 2 years in the Netherlands city of Eindhoven. Statistically the most inventive city in the world according to Forbes and home to many new-world creative giants such as Shapeways.
The festival aims to show the best in creative technology research from both start-up designer makers & established brands. It’s diverse content is what attracts its approximate 30,000 visitors, ranging from wearable tech devices, experiences, art and hands-on design. Merging the void between tech research & artistic design, Eindhoven only seems the perfect place for this festival.
STRP distinguishes itself by relating contemporary themes to a curious audience and as such make the future tangible in the now.

The festival can be located in the Strijp-s area of the city, this area used to be the once world renowned Philips factory. Now this place mixes a sense of derelict aesthetic with creative life. It is home to many new product and innovation start-ups all looking to make their mark on the area.
The world class design academy Eindhoven located near-by fuels this new district. Bright colours, street art and small design communities epitomise the area. Shipping container shops, gardens and studios fill the central square whilst the grand factories above display signs and 3D printers at every window.
