We were quick to snap up gold tickets to the London Fashion Week Festival to indulge in the latest fabrics, cuts and colours for AW18.
As well as catwalk trends LFWF is also a chance to hear all the latest tips from industry experts and (maybe) squeeze in some new season shopping…!
We were excited to see the Trend Catwalk show as well as a Designer Catwalk, both offering something completely different. The Trend Catwalk brought us 3 exciting looks on the runway – Vintage Vacation, New Wave and Cyber Sports.
Vintage Vacation was romantic, floral, throwback and offered an explosion of tropical prints and sun worthy pattrens; giant shade-throwing sun hats and bug eye sunglasses.
New Wave was structured, black & white with pops of red and featured tailoring throughout. Think sharp angles, striking shapes and second skin leather and wet look gloss.
Cyber Sports was most exciting offering a futuristic take on tech combined with Ibiza colour-ways and sporty fabrics. Master of the art of layering its all about the meld of metallic with sheer, nylon, drawstrings and zippers.

After the glitz and glamour of the catwalks we headed over to explore the festival, which features over 150 brands with both new international names and heritage British labels – clothing, sunglasses, jewellery, bags you name it.
It was an especially exciting display of bright yellows, reds, fake and real fur, eclectic and tropical prints, cutesy pastels, embroidery, sequins, ruffles, tassles (deep breath!) and crochet!
One of our favourite jewellery brands and bloggers had a stand this year – Missoma X Lucy Williams. The collection features subtle bohemian dainty gold stackable jewellery.
